The SMA Eat n Run 5K race was one of the best races to hit Columbus in years! The race attracted nearly 700 participants and raised over $50,000 for Spinal Muscular Atrophy research, surpassing the organizer’s goals. The race was extremely well organized and included food cooked up by Country’s Barbecue as well as a live band.  Here’s a photo from afterward:

There are a couple of races this Saturday but we’re really excited to see a new one called the SMA Eat n Run 5K . Race day registration opens at 9am, race starts at 10, and prizes at 11am. Live band.  The Facebook Fan Page has even more information about the event. The run looks like a fun 5K. It starts at Hardaway High School and the course is the same course as last year’s Aaron Blake Reynolds Memorial 5K .
